The first main stage headliners for the 2024 edition of 2000trees Festival have been announced. The Gaslight Anthem, a remarkable rock band from New Jersey, will be taking the stage. Known for their ability to find beauty in the inevitable struggles of life, this four-piece group delves into themes such as mortality, mental illness, and the complexities of human connection through their soulful punk sound. Their upcoming album ‘History Books’ follows in the footsteps of their influential record ‘The ’59 Sound,’ hitting emotional chords while evoking triumphant sing-alongs.
The Gaslight Anthem, UK Festival Exclusive, will headline on Thursday, July 11th.
James Scarlett, the booker for 2000trees Festival, expressed his excitement about having The Gaslight Anthem join them at Upcote Farm. He mentioned that they have been trying to book the band for the past decade and consider them a perfect headliner for the festival. The album ‘The ’59 Sound’ holds personal significance to him, making their presence at 2000trees even more special.
