The UK’s highly motivational summer festival, blending ideas, music, and comedy with culinary, nature, and wellness adventures, has revealed the initial lineup of speakers, entertainers, and activities for its upcoming 11th edition: ALSO24. This event will be held from July 12th to 14th, 2024, at Park Farm in Compton Verney, Warwickshire.

Intriguing, intelligent, and imaginative, ALSO Festival partners with renowned bestselling authors, groundbreaking scientists, and passionate specialists to unleash boundless ideas. Carefully selected, ALSO24 guarantees a truly heavenly experience as we explore the concept of Heavenly Bodies, crafting a fantastical festival journey reminiscent of paradise on earth. Nestled by the lakeside within 50 acres of Capability Brown-designed landscapes in Warwickshire, ALSO Festival presents a distinct chance to rediscover oneself and the environment through a myriad of inspirational activities across 15 uniquely crafted spaces.

Despite facing challenges as an independent festival this year, we are committed to delivering a remarkable weekend at our stunning Capability Brown landscaped venue. ALSO represents the evolution of festivals: immersive, experiential, and infused with transformative ideas. Our focus on ‘Heavenly Bodies’ for 2024 highlights our dedication to embracing beauty, joy, and resilience, even amidst industry adversity.


ALSO24 will feature groundbreaking concepts presented by renowned figures including Philippa Perry, the No1 Sunday Times Bestselling psychotherapist (making her sole UK festival appearance this summer), Professor Sir Michael Marmot who explores Making Waves with a deep dive into longevity, and bestselling author Natalie Haynes, acclaimed classicist and rock-star, who offers a fresh perspective on Greek Goddesses’ stories in their original form.

ALSO24 offers an ideal setting for exploring fresh music, delivering a stellar summer soundtrack. Experience groundbreaking live shows by the exceptional experimental artist Jessica Winter (‘The fresh voice of unconventional pop’ – Line of Best Fit) and indie-folk pioneers Stornoway, whose dynamic fourth album resonates with both existing and new fans. Be prepared to groove as The Fontanas, a soulful funk collective with Latin and Brazilian influences, grace the stage.

Highlighted live musical acts include the promising Welsh singer-songwriter Edie Bens, the ethereal tunes of Oscar Browne, the fusion sounds of hip-hop, funk, and soul by Miya the Sun, blues-rock nostalgia with Get the Water, high-energy rock from The Dukes, indie rock vibes from Jet Black Orange, the mesmerizing multi-instrumentalist James Walker, Eastern European Ska/Celtic beats with The Balkaneers, a unique performance by The Sea and I, folk-inspired, lyrically rich songs by Yoshika Colwell, and harmonious melodies from The Self Help Group, influenced by American vocal tradition.

Enhancing the live music experience, our outstanding DJs including DJ LIL, DJ Mash, DJ Steve Vertigo, DJ Nick Lawrence, Saturday Love with DJ Luke Taylor, and many others will ensure a night of continuous dancing at our lakeside Rum Bar, enchanting late-night Woods dancefloor, or our renowned sustainably constructed straw bale Bunker that stays open even later.

ALSO24 presents a lineup of witty comedy, showcasing BAFTA award-winning writer and comedian Adam Kay (known for “This is Going to Hurt” and “Undoctored”), renowned comedian and bestselling author Sara Pascoe debuting her show “Thoughts from the Night” (featured on QI, Taskmaster, and Live at the Apollo), and international comedy icon Rob Deering, winner of Celebrity Mastermind, who challenges our comedians with his live music-based comedy quiz – Beat This!

Notable comedy features include thought-provoking reflections from the always-engaged Robin Ince, exquisite spoken word by poet and novelist Salena Godden, and the French cynic (also a TikTok sensation) Marcel Lucont, showcasing his popular show Cabaret Fantastique in our recently revamped cabaret-themed dining tent.


Immerse yourself in unique experiences at ALSO24, where festival attendees can partake in a variety of exciting adventures and creative endeavors. Engage in hands-on workshops like lantern making and biscuit decorating, along with upcoming surprises. Explore nature on our Bat Walk, practice painting meditation with Liz Temperley, or ponder the cosmos at Astrology in the Orrery. Participate in the ALSO games (rounders, badminton, volleyball, boules, crazy golf), enjoy boardgames, learn Poker basics, How to DJ skills, or enhance your performance abilities with vocal coach Juliet Russell. Conclude the evening by channeling your inner disco diva at our Studio 54-inspired Saturday Night Spectacular.


At ALSO24, we cater to both your physical and mental well-being through our diverse wellness program. Indulge in rejuvenating sound baths, unwind at the ALSO Sauna or Zen Ten Spa, and enjoy our serene water activities like wild swimming and paddleboarding. Join invigorating fitness workshops, partake in the Heavenly run, and experience various yoga styles including Qi Gong, fire yoga, moon yoga, SUP yoga, and laughter yoga led by expert instructors. James Whetlor, a celebrated James Beard award-winning chef and founder of the ethical, sustainable business Cabrito, has been appointed as ALSO Festival’s inaugural Executive Chef in Residence. During the weekend, he will curate special menus, including a French Bistro-inspired Friday night feast, a Saturday Long Table Lunch, an Asado-style dining experience on Saturday night, and a Sunday Lunch Curry Feast.

ALSO’s emphasis on culinary adventures creates a food festival within a festival, inviting guests to gather around a table in the picturesque wilderness to cook, savor, and exchange culinary experiences. From den building to a mini big safari, rocket workshop, raft building, messy play, woodland activities, and a dedicated under-4s play area called The Stanley, the festival has something for everyone. Children under 5 receive complimentary admission, while individuals under 30 and families can benefit from discounted tickets.

Parking at ALSO is complimentary, though a restricted quantity of car passes grants access to the campsite. Campervan passes and Glamping choices are also on offer.
