Today, Tuesday 11 July, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society is delighted to announce that the official EdFringe 2023 app is now live and available to download from this page on the Apple App Store or from this page on Google Play.

Since its launch on June 8th, over 300 additional shows have been registered, solidifying the app (alongside edfringe.com) as one of the top sources for up-to-date information on all Fringe 2023 shows.

The upcoming 2023 app will retain familiar features from previous years, including genre-based listing filters and the ‘nearby now’ function for finding shows starting soon. Users can conveniently book tickets, store e-ticket QR codes in their account area, and seamlessly integrate booked performances into their daily show schedule. Exciting additions include never-miss notifications for the next show and a ‘shake to search’ feature that provides random show suggestions for users seeking inspiration.

The official 2023 EdFringe app owes its existence to the generous sponsorship from Playbill, support from Synetec and Johnnie Walker Princes Street, as well as the backing of EventScotland. The Fringe Society also extends gratitude to Perth’s Fringe World Festival for introducing the app’s developers.
