The initial lineup includes acclaimed artists such as Fred again.., Pulp, The Smile, PJ Harvey, and many other talented international and domestic acts.

Flow Festival, established in 2004, has evolved from a small club event attended by 4,000 people to a renowned global music and city festival that attracts over 90,000 guests. Since 2007, it has been held at the captivating Suvilahti, an old power plant site in Helsinki that has become synonymous with the festival’s essence. Over its two decades of existence, Flow Festival has firmly established itself as one of Europe’s most exceptional festival experiences. In the upcoming summer of 2024, it will commemorate both its past and future through an impressive program.

At the forefront is DJ and electronic music icon Fred again… Renowned for his electrifying shows and record-breaking streaming numbers, this Grammy-nominated artist is set to make a triumphant comeback at Flow Festival. Also gracing the lineup is the legendary Britpop group Pulp, known for their distinctive art-rock style and catchy indie melodies. Prepare for an unforgettable and passionate journey down memory lane as festival attendees soak in their iconic swagger.

The Smile, an English rock band consisting of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead, along with jazz drummer Tom Skinner formerly of Sons of Kemet, will release their highly anticipated album “Wall of Eyes” in January, leading up to an eagerly awaited performance. Additionally, the iconic singer-songwriter PJ Harvey, who recently released her acclaimed album ‘I Inside the Old Year Dying,’ will make her first appearance at Flow.

Flow Festival Helsinki offers a weekend of celebration and exploration, uniting pioneers and influential artists from various genres, eras, and styles. The upcoming lineup features remarkable additions such as pop luminary Jessie Ware, renowned for her brilliance in music. Joining her are the dynamic hip-hop artist Denzel Curry and rising star Kenya Grace, whose massive hit “Strangers” propelled her to pop stardom. The festival caters to both DJ and club music enthusiasts, presenting rising duo Overmono, Berlin sensation Herrensauna, and the legendary New York DJ trio Joe Claussell, François K, and Danny Krivit. They will bring their iconic club concept Body & Soul to captivate festival-goers.

Flow Festival not only brings together global sensations but also highlights Finland’s vibrant music scene. The event features domestic talents like ibe, a hip-hop sensation, the immensely successful Arppa presenting a special gig titled Arppa & Sunnuntain seireenit, and Antti Autio, who will deliver an exclusive performance of his upcoming album set for release in spring 2024. Additionally, trumpeter Verneri Pohjola’s captivating super ensemble Monkey Mind, the experiential instrumental group Tinyhawk & Bizzarro with their fresh soundscape, and the intriguing newcomer Joalin contribute to the local flair.
