After engaging in two years of TV presenting, stage acting, podcast hosting, dog walking, and decorating the spare room, John has returned to his greatest passion: standing on stage and bringing laughter to audiences.

John exclaimed, “Adding these extra dates to my ‘Back At It’ tour brings me great joy. The work in progress shows began roughly 10 days ago, reigniting my creativity with immense audience support. I eagerly anticipate meeting more of you as we hit the road.”

John Bishop’s career has been remarkable. Just three years after his debut comedy performance in 2000, he was entertaining sold-out arena crowds nationwide and launched the UK’s fastest-selling stand-up DVD.

Since then, he has found significant success with numerous comedy, entertainment, and documentary shows of his own. These include programs like ‘John Bishop’s Australia’ (BBC1), ‘John Bishop’s Britain’ (BBC1), ‘John Bishop’s Only Joking’ (Sky1), ‘The John Bishop Show’ (BBC1), ‘The John Bishop Christmas Show’ (BBC1), ‘John Bishop’s Gorilla Adventure’ (ITV1), ‘John Bishop’s Ireland’ (ITV1), and four seasons of the highly acclaimed ‘John Bishop: In Conversation With…’ (W Channel). In this series, he engaged in one-on-one conversations with prominent figures from the realms of entertainment, music, and sports. His other television appearances encompass two seasons of ‘The John Bishop Show’ (ITV1), a stint on ‘Doctor Who’ (BBC1), and the documentary ‘John & Joe Bishop: Life After Deaf’ (ITV1).

John co-hosts the podcast Three Little Words alongside writer, actor, and director Tony Pitts. Together, they engage in conversations with intriguing individuals about their lives, aspirations, challenges, and convictions. The show boasts a diverse range of guests, spanning from globally renowned musicians and actors to scientists, politicians, artists, and sports personalities. Previous episodes have welcomed guests such as Robbie Williams, John Cleese, Sebastian Faulks, and Professor Brian Cox.

John headlined the UK & Ireland tour of Mother Goose alongside Ian McKellen last year, featuring a highly triumphant stint in London’s West End spanning four months.
