The festival will feature five prominent headliners including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paolo Nutini, The Streets, Paul Heaton with guest singer Rianne Downey, and Keane. In addition to these top acts, over 120 world-class performers will entertain and delight the audience in August.

Tickets for Kendal Calling went on sale last August, with fans snapping them up in record breaking time. With demand at an all-time-high and over 60% of tickets sold so far, fans are urged to get theirs in Friday’s pre-sale to avoid missing out, this will be followed by general on sale on Monday! Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds returns to Kendal Calling for the first time since 2016. Noel Gallagher, known for his role as the principal songwriter, lead guitarist, and occasional lead vocalist of Oasis, has greatly influenced contemporary guitar music. With his band’s continued success, including the acclaimed album “Council Skies,” Noel Gallagher solidifies his position as one of the most prolific and successful British songwriters in the past 50 years. The High Flying Birds have released four studio albums, multiple EPs, a career-spanning No.1 Best Of album, and have embarked on numerous global tours.
Paolo Nutini, who released his fourth album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ in 2022, will also be performing at Kendal 2024. This album became his third consecutive #1 studio album and includes popular tracks such as ‘Lose It’, ‘Through The Echoes’, ‘Radio’, ‘Shine A Light’, and ‘Petrified In Love’. After a successful series of headline shows in 2022, including sold-out performances at Alexandra Palace and The Hydro in Glasgow, Paolo is now set to perform in the Lakes.
The Streets, pioneers of UK garage, are set to headline the main stage at Kendal Calling this summer. Led by the incomparable Mike Skinner, they have become a defining force in British music culture since their breakthrough with the iconic album ‘Original Pirate Material’ in 2002. Two decades later, The Streets continue to push boundaries with a mesmerizing collection of hits such as Fit But You Know It, Has It Come To This?, Blinded By The Lights, Dry Your Eyes, and their recent track, Brexit At Tiffany’s in 2022.
Kendal Calling is excited to announce the return of Paul Heaton, along with special guest Rianne Downey. Heaton, the beloved frontman of The Beautiful South, known for the hit single ‘A Little Time’, will be joined by Rianne Downey, a talented singer-songwriter from Scotland. Downey has established herself in the music scene, supporting notable artists like Paolo Nutini, The Coral, and DMAs. She was also honored as Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2022 at the Scottish Music Awards.
The British rock band Keane, known for their distinctive piano sound, will be joining the impressive lineup at Kendal Calling. They are commemorating the 20th anniversary of their album ‘Hopes And Fears’, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and featured popular tracks like “Somewhere Only We Know,” “Everybody’s Changing,” and “This Is The Last Time.” Keane’s timeless melodies have defined a generation, and they will be gracing the main stage with an unforgettable performance. Additionally, Sugababes, a four-time platinum award-winning girl group, will also be adding their dose of girl power to the festival. Known for hits such as “Push The Button,” “Round Round,” and “About You Now,” they are set to bring their infectious energy to the fields, promising an incredible dance-along set.
Don’t miss the chance to witness the ultimate DJ set of Gary Neville B2B Tim Burgess this summer. Tim Burgess expressed his enthusiasm about DJing alongside Gary, praising his exceptional music taste. Though they previously shared a stage when Gary played guitar for The Charlatans, there’s no guarantee of collaborative songs, but an impromptu singalong might surprise you.
Over 120 additional artists have joined the line-up for Kendal Calling, including Declan McKenna who is preparing for the launch of his third studio album titled “What Happened To The Beach.” Other notable additions are Rotherham’s chart-topping rock band The Reytons, Scotland’s highly promising musical export The Snuts, and Kate Nash, the hitmaker behind “Foundations.” Manchester’s Pale Waves, known for their teasers about their upcoming “best album yet,” will also be performing, along with Katy B, CMAT, Kendal favorites Lottery Winners, who will headline Parklands, and Heather Small, renowned for her track “Movin’ On Up.”
Saturday’s lineup features the hilarious Russell Howard as the special guest opener, followed by the uproarious Paul Smith. The stage will also ignite with electrifying performances from Peace and The K’s, while Dick & Dom promise an unforgettable, high-energy show. Prepare for catchy tunes from Pip Blom, The Royston Club, Temples, and the ever-popular Lancashire Hotpots.
