LooseFest is the North East’s largest and most ambitious music festival and it makes a welcome return on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August at the expansive inner-city green space, the Town Moor. Saturday’s lineup on the Capital Stage includes Belters Only, Goodboys, Example, Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe, Sean Paul, Sigala, Tinchy Stryder, and more. Trick will feature a three-hour set by Patrick Topping, along with performances by Ben Hemsley, Kettama, and others. A-Trak, Crazy P Soundsystem, Dam Swindle, Fat Tony, Horse Meat Disco, Kenny Dope, and more will be welcomed at What The Funk. Judge Jules, Artful Dodger, Black Legend, Devlin, DJ Luck & Mc Neat, Kathy Brown, and Phats & Small will be part of the Mixtape lineup.
On Sunday, Capital presents a lineup featuring Chase & Status (DJ), Craig David, Jax Jones, Wes Nelson, Jess Bays, and Special Guest Tinie Tempah, among others. Let’s Get Loose showcases Airwolf Paradise, Alan Fitzpatrick, Archie Hamilton, East End Dubs, Franky Wah, Hot Since 82, Meg Ward, Sorley, Syreeta, and Worried About Henry. Andy C, Sub Focus & Dimension, Kings of the Rollers, Harriet Jaxxon, My Nu Leng, and many more are part of the lineup for Worried About Henry. Utopiar offers sounds from artists like Andy Whitby, Billy Gillies, Flip & Fill, Ultrabeat, and more.
LooseFest presents five amazing arenas filled with music, accompanied by a street food village, funfair, diverse bars and vendors, immersive experiences, and its own digital Metaverse. The festival also boasts convenient transportation options, ample local accommodation, and Airbnbs.
Since its introduction in Herrington Park in 2021, LooseFest has experienced tremendous growth.
