Lost Village has revealed the lineup for its 2024 event, occurring from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th August during the August Bank Holiday weekend. Situated within a historic Lincolnshire forest, this four-day adventure celebrates exploration and promises to be increasingly extravagant, surprising, and surreal with each passing year. The immersive experience features an exceptional selection of bands, DJs, and artists, solidifying its reputation as one of Europe’s premier electronic music destinations.
The initial lineup for Lost Village has been disclosed, introducing several artists. However, the identity of the Saturday headliner remains unknown, adhering to the mystique of the festival. Maribou State, SBTRKT (the renowned masked electronic producer), Yaeji (a Korean-American DJ, producer, and vocalist), Neil Frances (an indie dance duo from LA), and Sofia Kortesis (a Peruvian producer and vocalist) are among the live performers scheduled for Lost Village.
In addition, Villagers will be treated to performances by internationally acclaimed artists like Floating Points, The Blessed Madonna, Folamour, Ben UFO, and Solomun. They will also be accompanied by prominent underground talents such as Jyoty, Midland, Job Jobse, Âme b2b TRIKK, Hudson Mohawke, HAAi, System Olympia, Ross From Friends, Shanti Celeste b2b Peach, and many others.
HE.SHE.THEY., a collective with a long-standing partnership, infuses their distinctive energy into two locations, namely “Watchers Holt,” an enclosed courtyard adorned with vines, and “Jupiter Park,” a neglected theme park. They oversee curated takeovers in these spaces, while other areas like The Old Zoo, Airbase, and Junkyard offer extraordinary experiences. Visitors will embark on journeys through meandering forest trails, encounter a row of antiquated shops, and immerse themselves in the mesmerizing ambiance of “Strike City”, a hybrid bowling alley and arcade. Moreover, new venues emerge annually, ensuring the villagers’ exploration remains ever-evolving.
Lost Village is not just a music festival; it also boasts a rich history of outstanding food. Indulge in distinctive dining options such as the enchanting “Table in the Woods” and the grand “Forest Banquet,” featuring renowned Michelin-starred chefs James Lowe from Lyle’s and Cal Byerley from Pine. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements. Additionally, enjoy delicious offerings from popular pop-up restaurants like Kricket, Circolo Popolare, Pophams, and Burger & Beyond.
“The Lost Theatre” is back to showcase upcoming comedians as well as established stars like Simon Amstell, Phil Wang, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Joe Lycett, and more. The Institute of Curious Minds, a hub for talks and live interviews, will bring captivating stories to life, allowing Lost Villagers to engage with their favorite subjects and scenes. Past guests have included fashion icon Pam Hogg, filmmaker Irvine Welsh, artists like Jayda G, and music industry leader Richard Russell, the boss of XL label.
During the festival, attendees can participate in various creative workshops and wellness sessions offered at the Energy Garden. These activities will be available throughout the weekend, allowing people to unwind in a lakeside spa with wood-fired hot tubs or engage in yoga and mindfulness practices.
