Sensus Events announced today that dance music icons Cristoph and Rui Da Silva will be headlining their largest event to date, Sensus Fest. The festival will be held at the popular Carriage Shed venue in Chester City Centre on Saturday, September 23rd.

Cristoph, a DJ and Producer from Newcastle, made a huge impact on the House music scene with a career-defining moment in 2016. He achieved a major breakthrough by joining Hot Since 82’s acclaimed Knee Deep in Sound label and becoming the first artist to launch their highly sought-after ‘8-track’ album series. The release of this concept album propelled Cristoph into the global spotlight, captivating dancefloors worldwide with anthemic vocal tracks such as “Alone” and “Closer.”
In 2017, Cristoph achieved a significant milestone in his career by joining two highly esteemed record labels in the electronic music industry: Bedrock, led by John Digweed, and Last Night on Earth, curated by Sasha. This moment marked a complete journey for him, highlighting his talent and commitment to his craft. With his unique sound and exceptional production abilities, Cristoph swiftly left an indelible impression on both labels, releasing remarkable tracks that captivated the progressive music scene.

Up next is Rui Da Silva, hailed as one of Portugal’s finest exports. His remarkable talent has carved a unique path, earning him respect in the underground scene and achieving widespread commercial success. In 1999, Rui ventured to London, immersing himself in its thriving music industry. Swiftly amassing a dedicated following and gaining significant exposure, he founded ‘Kismet Records’ in 2000.
He achieved a major milestone when his renowned song “Touch Me” climbed to the pinnacle of global music charts, connecting the club scene with mainstream radio. Moreover, Rui is not just a skilled producer but also a talented songwriter. He has collaborated with respected artists like Queen of Hearts, Ruby Goe, and Aggro Santos, among others.
Rui Da Silva’s remixing skills are in high demand, having collaborated with renowned DJs and pop stars such as Danny Tenaglia and Jennifer Lopez. Notably, Yoko Ono personally approached Rui to remix “Walking On Thin Ice,” the final track created by her and John Lennon. It’s evident that Rui Da Silva is poised for global domination.
