About Slipknot

SLIPKNOT is a truly unparalleled band, unlike any other in history and impossible to replicate. Emerging from the Midwest like a transformative force, they have evolved into an uncompromising, undeniable, and one-of-a-kind presence that surpasses boundaries of genre and spans generations.

Starting in 1999 with the seeds of revolution in Iowa, these musical outliers have achieved a GRAMMY Award and garnered 10 nominations. They have also earned 12 Platinum and 41 Gold album certifications worldwide, while accumulating over 8.5 billion global streams and 3.5 billion video views – an unprecedented accomplishment for a rock act in this generation or any other. The influential platinum-selling album “Iowa” from 2001 was recognized by Rolling Stone as one of “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time.” Additionally, The Ringer proclaimed them as the most significant heavy band of their era.

The group’s sixth album, “WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, marking their third consecutive chart-topping debut. It also achieved the same feat in twelve countries globally in 2019. They sold out shows across multiple continents and provided a unique multi-sensory experience on tour and at their KNOTFEST festival. Now, with their seventh album, “THE END, SO FAR,” SLIPKNOT is back, promising a transformative impact.
