TOOL is set to make their long-awaited comeback to Europe in Spring 2024. The highly-anticipated tour will feature a month of dates, including performances at renowned venues like London’s The O2, Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, and Paris’ Accor Arena. Additionally, the band will be making appearances at prestigious festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting, Tons of Rock, and CopenHell.
The band’s European tour announcement comes after a busy period for the Los Angeles-based group. Comprising Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, Adam Jones, and Maynard James Keenan, TOOL is currently in the midst of a North American tour that will continue until February. In the past five months, they have headlined various festivals such as Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals. Additionally, they delivered a remarkable performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as a mind-blowing display of their unique art, surpassing genre boundaries and creating a transcendental experience.
Tickets for all headlining dates are on-sale this Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 am local time. In advance of the forthcoming on-sale, TOOL Army has opened additional memberships, with pre-sale tickets available exclusively to members for a 24-hour window beginning today at 10 am local time. TOOL Army members will continue to have access to pre-sale tickets until the public on-sale begins on Friday. A limited number of VIP packages will also be initially available to TOOL Army members, with remaining options available to the general public as the on-sale begins on Nov. 17. Formed in 1990, TOOL has released five studio albums: Undertow (1993), Ænima (1996), Lateralus (2001), 10,000 Days (2006), and Fear Inoculum (2019). They have also produced two EPs: 72826 (1991) and Opiate (1992), along with the limited-edition boxset Salival (2000). The band holds four GRAMMY Awards®, winning Best Metal Performance for “Ænima” in 1998, “Schism” in 2002, and “7empest” in 2020. Additionally, they received Best Recording Package for 10,000 Days in 2007.
